When they arrived at Zhang Liang's residence, Feng Mian was trying her best to stay away from Zhang Liang as far as possible. She didn't want to get tickled again. It was already more than enough.

"We've arrived."

Feng Mian opened the door by herself and rushed into the house. On her back, Zhang Liang sighed. When he tickled her, he had accidentally aroused himself. He would need to go to the bathroom and fix a little problem first.

A cold bath has become his favorite lately thanks to his youthful hormone.

Klek!

"Madam, there's a guest."

"Oh? Who?"

"He said that his name is Feng Shao."

Feng Mian's eyes lit up. She quickly rushed to the living room and saw her brother there. He was no longer wearing a mask, so his similar feature was apparent to Feng Mian. It was a very familiar face to her, one that she had known ever since she was young.

"Shao Ge!"

Feng Shao turned his head and smiled. "Mian'er, are you alright?"

"Of course!"

Zhang Liang entered the house and frowned upon seeing Feng Shao. "What are you doing here? How about the work I asked you to do?"

"There's no need for that. He got caught in the middle of a fight. Presumably, he wouldn't even be able to get out of that mess," Feng Shao replied unhurriedly. Towards those who dared to harm his little sister, he would spare every effort possible to make them pay.

Zhang Liang nodded. The place was covered by Dragon Gang, so he would just ask them to clean up the mess later. He looked at Feng Mian, who was still in her brother's embrace.

"Now, can you return my wife to me?"

Feng Shao looked at Zhang Liang. "Before that, I want to beat you up first."

Zhang Liang arched his eyebrows. "Why?"

"Why do you announce your marriage? Don't you know how dangerous it would be?"

There were still Zhang Liang's competitors out there, waiting for every chance possible to hurt Zhang Liang. If they made their moves to Feng Mian, Feng Shao would never forgive them. Most importantly, he disliked having Zhang Liang as his sister's husband.

He was too high profile!

Zhang Liang pursed his lips. "I see. Shall we head to the training room?"

"Wait, don't fight!" Feng Mian was stunned. She looked at the two of them with disp.l.e.a.s.u.r.e apparent on her face.

"Don't worry, I won't lose."

"Say that after you defeat me."

"That's not… ugh." Feng Mian felt helpless. She could never understand why the men loved to solve their problems by fighting. Seeing the two of them entered the training room, Feng Mian decided to not come in. She didn't want to see her brother and her husband fight against each other.

There was no sound coming out at all. After all, the room was made to be soundproof. That way, no one would be able to know what kind of practice that was done inside. It was also designed that way so that the sound they produced would not bother anyone else outside.

Klek!

"You're done?" Feng Mian asked and rushed to check. Her lips twitched when she saw the two of them bruised all over. What in the world do they do for the past few minutes?

Zhang Liang nodded. "Yeah."

"Who won?"

"Who knows," Feng Shao refused to answer. He stood up slowly and looked at Zhang Liang. "You're the closest to her, so protect her properly."

"I will."

Feng Mian smiled when she heard what her brother said. It meant that he had already acknowledged Zhang Liang as her husband. She giggled a bit. "Now that you have already finished fighting, clean up your wounds and let's have lunch."

"Ok."

The two men looked at each other. They have come to a tacit agreement that they would not quarrel when it came to Feng Mian.

"Oh, right. Mian'er, the chocolate is in your room."

"Really?" Feng Mian's eyes lit up and she dashed to her room. She had been waiting for some time to taste it.

Feng Shao sighed when he saw how excited Feng Mian was. At times, he truly wondered how Feng Mian could still be so childish. However, this side of her truly made him think of her as an adorable little girl.

"Feng Mian liked chocolate and candies," Feng Shao said slowly. "But make sure she didn't' eat too much."

"Don't worry. I know her limit."

Zhang Liang would never allow Feng Mian to eat too much sweets. He would surely limit the number she could eat.

"Good, you better keep your promise."

Zhang Liang nodded. "She's my one and only wife until the end of my life, I'll surely protect her."

By now, Feng Mian had reached her room. She looked at the chocolate on the table and beamed. Slowly, she opened the box and took the chocolate out. Opening the silver wrapping gingerly, she could see the round chocolate. With excitement, she put the chocolate into her mouth.

At first the chocolate was sweet, then it was bitter but then the sweet caramel entered her mouth. The dark chocolate crumbed so quickly when it entered her mouth, providing the taste of the sweet caramel that was inside. Afterwards, Feng Mian munched on the almond in the middle.

Zhang Liang chuckled when he saw Feng Mian's expression. "You sure enjoy the chocolate, Mian'er."

"It's delicious! I don't know that the combination of sweet and bitter dark chocolate can be this good."

Zhang Liang didn't answer. When he was thinking of combining this, he was thinking about her and his feelings. Love was sweet yet it was bitter at times because they have to learn how to care for each other. However, he would not tell her about this concept that he thought.

"Come on, your brother can't go from his post too long."

"Okay~."

As time passed, Feng Mian worked on her painting and also the design for the wrapping. She created a simple red with some gold and silver colored pattern on the side. The box was made to be cylinder in the shape with the wrapping around it. There was an almond shaped circle at the top to let them see the chocolate inside.

As for paintings, Feng Mian worked hard to finish the second set that Wei Lian wanted her to do. Because she announced her work as an artist, she got another rise in commission, but her manager didn't allow her to take so many works and only accepted a few requests. The rest was thrown to the back.

The next painting after the young man was the scene of two people inside the water. She was recalling the day back when she was drowning in the ship, helpless and unable to save herself. It was then Zhang Liang came to save her. His figure when he came to her was vivid in her mind.

She decided to draw the scene from the side with her at the bottom and Zhang Liang swam from above. The water around them was made to be dark yet there was light coming from above. Her expression was full of despair with her eyes closed, ready to accept her fate.

However, Zhang Liang came at that very moment, taking her back from the jaw of death and brought her back to the surface.

This was the end of her second set, which only consisted of four paintings. She wanted to draw another one, but in the end, she decided against it. The journey was not done yet.

Feng Mian sent the painting over to Wei Liang, asking him to show it.

Thankfully, this time, he no longer asked for her painting but only a small percentage of her income. This way, she would be able to borrow his gallery whenever she wanted to showcase her works.

With a bit of negotiation that Zhang Liang conducted, Feng Mian managed to set the deal.

"Is this the last one?" Zhang Liang asked when he saw the painting that Feng Mian brought out.

Feng Mian nodded. "Yeah. I'm going to work on commission for now, so I won't be able to hold another exhibition soon. But I'm sure that this should be good enough."

Zhang Liang nodded. It was only a few months ago that Feng Mian first showed her paintings that she drew because she wanted and not because of commissions. The price for her painting had grown, nearly reaching 1000 dollars. It was truly a large sum considering that she was still quite unknown.

"How high do you want your paintings to be, Mian'er?"

How high?

Feng Mian blinked her eyes then smiled. "Well, a thousand to two thousand dollars should be enough."

"You're truly unambitious. And if you lived overseas, that meagre sum of money wouldn't even let you last for half a month."

Feng Mian laughed at Zhang Liang's remark. She smiled. "In this country, it's already quite a lot of sum. I don't have to be extremely famous. Just having people supported me in what I did and earning enough to get by is already more than enough. Of course, I won't reject it if I can earn more too."

Zhang Liang nodded. He had sensed it when he met with Feng Mian, but she was quite easy going. As long as she had enough to get by, she would be satisfied and then continue her work.

She knew that her art could not be placed among the professionals but it was better than those who had just learned art. Because of that, her price was only slightly higher.

Maybe in the future she would be able to earn more, but who knew about that.

Ring! Ring!

Zhang Liang's phone rang. He picked it up and brought it to his ear. Upon hearing the word, his face paled.
