Chapter 23: First Time Joining an Adventuring Party

“You must be Shien right?”

The one to speak to Shien with a gentle voice was a young girl who, although she had a beautiful face and figure, also wore a set of heavy armor and had a huge shield and sword set beside her.

As for the last girl, she was an elf. She has a pair of pointy ears and green, waist-length hair. She wore a magician’s robe and held in her lap a long magic staff. Her face was even prettier than the others. An elf girl who was more attention-grabbing than a top idol.

With the addition of Vivian, what appeared in the room are four beauties who attracted attention in various ways. Even the black cloaked girl who hid practically her entire face under the hood. Based on just the bottom half of her face, her looks definitely won’t lose out to the others.

For this adventuring party at this time, besides Vivian who showed a gentle and friendly expression, the attitudes of the other three can’t be said to be particularly friendly.

The black-cloaked girl didn’t even raise her head.

The beastman girl was hiding behind the black-cloaked girl with a scared expression.

“I-I’m Lumia. P-Please take care of me.”

The beastman girl ended up stuttering out her name while still holding onto Diere’s hand with both of hers. Her nervous and timid personality was on full display.

“I’m Melika. Please take care of me.”

The elf girl also nodded to Shien in a greeting with her face still tense. Although it wasn’t to the point of being hostile to Shien, it did clearly display her tenseness and caution towards strangers.

Then, the three girls stopped talking, which made Vivian feel rather resigned.

As for Shien, he was relieved.

When a male suddenly entered a party with all beautiful girls, this is the proper response after all.

But, because of that, Shien still wanted to clearly state what needed to be said.

“Miss Vivian.” Shien thus addressed Vivian, “Can I really join this adventuring party?”
