The wind cutting past me sounded like the murmuring of a streamlet. My partner flew through the air, and used the opportunity to hunt, focusing on jellyfish in particular. Her speed as she raced through the sky had suddenly increased, but I didn’t mind.

Rollodeen transmitted feelings of joy to me through the tentacle connecting us while growling as she happily wolfed down another jellyfish. Because it made me happy as well, I used Holy Sword Saraten to take down a flying raccoon as part of Saraten’s training.

After continuing the training session for a bit, I asked myself whether I should examine the silver coffin. I touched the carvings with their design reminding me of butterflies and people. 𝙗𝙚𝙙𝒏𝙤𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝒄𝙤𝙢

The coffin didn’t accept my mana. Maybe its exterior is made of an insulating material.

Suddenly, an eerie voice resounded from within the coffin, “…Ki…zeleg.”

I couldn’t put the coffin into my item box, so the Kizeleg inside must be alive after all. Akreshys-sama told me that it’s possible for me to make Kizeleg revive if I use the egg-shaped gem left behind by Demi-Goddess Golgonshura.

I think those words were directed at me as I possess the space-time and water attributes. It’s not like I’m obeying Akreshys-sama’s warning that she wouldn’t do it, if it was her decision, but…right now I won’t free Kizeleg.

On the day of that chaotic night I had heard about the otherworld’s Japan from Sana-san and Hina-san.

Sana-san’s Hououin family judged this Kizeleg to be an ancient weapon. It looks like this coffin cuts off all magic. That’s why the Hououin family invested large amounts of money into recovering the coffin in Alaska where bloody wars were being waged.

The Hououin family analyzed the metal of the coffins and its contents, and planned to use it for the wars against foreign enemies and domestic adversaries.

I also heard that the Twelve High Families didn’t necessarily get along amongst each other either. There seems to be a fated strife going on among fellow magicians.

Hina-san was, honestly speaking, looking a lot scarier than Sana-san when she talked about the history while staring at me through her glasses.

『…It was decided at the magician council of the Hououin family. And especially the words of father, the patriarch and successor of the great mage’s powers, are absolute』 was the explanation of Sana-san as second daughter and Hououin Sana.

Still…it was regrettable that we couldn’t save all those who got transferred to Sela. I’m sure Quiche would have taken them all in. They should have been able to challenge the new life as long as they had a will to survive.

At that point, Sana-san and Hina-san both looked at me.

“Are you going to release that Kizeleg or whatever it is?”

“It might stand to reason, but going by the violent battles I’ve seen so far, I believe it to be dangerous.”

“Someday I might do it.”

There are no absolutes in this world.

Just when I thought that, my attention focused on the girls’ uniforms. They were made out of carbon fibers and had fine silver, yellow, and red lines on black ground. They were stylish and overall pretty neat attires. They might have a simple display and a portable computer integrated on the arm.

For sure, it’s clothing I’ve never seen in my Japan.

An emblem of a spear and magic crest had been added to the right chest part of their uniforms. Their left chest was protected by a small heart protector. A shoulder belt was connected to that protector. Sling swivel fasteners – probably for small firearms – were visible on the belt, too. I could also see a cord connected to their back, making their tight waists stand out even more.

The black waist belt with the silver lining looked neat, too. Its buckle was adorned by the same emblem as the one on the right chest.

Is it the symbol of the Hououin family?

On both sides of the waist, attached to the belt, were cases for storing guns and portable rods. The uniform was also equipped with a small bag for carrying cosmetic tools.

Every once in a while, Eva and Kisara took a peek at those womanly utensils. Is it some intuition characteristic of women? At least it looks like they’re curious about the cosmetics of another world.

Scrutinizing Sana-san and Hina-san’s uniforms, I remembered that I had been talking with them in Japanese.

Suddenly, a huge monster appeared in front of us. Its head was a small specter lemur. And although it possessed a pair of tactile organs like they were owned by big butterflies, it didn’t have any ears. Nor did it possess arms. Instead, it had abnormally fat legs and a thick, warped torso.

The torso looked like a thumb while the legs had a skin similar to beach parasols.

Is that also some kind of demon? Is it targeting Rollodeen and us?

Immediately after I brooded about those questions, Rollodeen responded. My partner meowed rhythmically while unleashing countless tentacles from her chest and wings, apparently intent on hunting that weird, gigantic monster.

It seemed as if countless missiles were plunging through the sky, aimed at the monster. No matter how often I witness this spectacle, it’s fascinating and awe-inspiring.

“Divine Beast! Wait! I’ll get that one!” Rotalz yelled while flying close to us.

My partner stopped her tentacles. And after confirming that, Rotalz shouted, “Alright!, full of delight and spirit.

――” Rotalz invoked a skill while making his huge frame glow.

In the next moment, he charged through the air while making his body spin like a drill with the horn extending from his forehead as an axis.

The pitch-black body of the Darkness Whale sparkled as if forcing the light rays of the sun to gather on him. So he’s transformed himself into a 『Photon Torpedo』, huh?

Given his huge body, him charging like a torpedo was frightening, to say the least. He was also farting as he plunged onwards…

Rollodeen’s eyes appeared to be pinned on Rotalz’s butt. Well, although I’m sharing senses with Rollo right now, I’ve got no clue what she’s looking at.

Rotalz’s shining, prided horn pierced through the monster’s abdomen.

“Fuhahaha――Kisara is stronger than this!”

While yelling that, he churned through the monster’s torso with his horn.

“Gyaaooo――”

The monster scattered its intestines. With its antennas swaying furiously, it counterattacked while screeching. The vertical trenches extending from the base of its two legs all the way to the feet tore open like automatic zippers.

Fangs shaped like hydrothermal vents densely lined up beyond the torn skin. Something similar to hot water that was on fire was suddenly spewed out of those fang vents.

The liquid rained down on Rotalz. But, it didn’t work against him. The surface of Rotalz’s body seemed to possess special aerodynamic characteristics. The burning liquid kept dripping off. A steam-like smoke rose from Rotalz’s shining body.

“As if that would work on me! The fire spat by one of Desra’s gods hurt a lot more――” He shouted loudly as if having turned himself into a megaphone.

Rotalz shook his head up and down, tearing and mixing up the heavy-looking torso of the monster with his horn.

As the monster was whirled around in the air, its blood splashed in all directions. As the wound opened up, starting to look like a huge valley, a waterfall of blood, guts and flesh chunks rained down on Rotalz.

And now that the monster’s belly had been mixed nicely by Rotalz’s horn, the whale opened his huge mouth, and while ferociously roaring, “――I wonder how you gonna taste!”, he tried to swallow the falling, bloodstained monster.

But, as bloody as it might be, the monster still had some life in it.

“Gyuaaaa――”

The antennas on both sides of the lemur-like head gleamed, and the remaining trenches in the skin also ripped apart, allowing thin, ink black, snakey flames to spew out from the tears.

But, none of it worked against Rotalz. He swallowed the monster whole, including the spaghetti-like flames.

Rotalz’s oral area got to be quite tough as well. Then his throat largely expanded like it did when a cobra swallowed down its prey. Immediately following, I heard a gulping sound.

“Nn, nya, nyao~~,” Rollodeen meowed, apparently praising Rotalz.

It’s probably because Rotalz swallowed its prey so magnificently.

At that moment, I could hear an intense sound of my partner’s sharp fangs on her upper and lower jaws gnashing together. It’s probably her mood of acting like a boss.

Anyway, soon Rotalz finished eating the monster which looked like it’d give stomach pains… Isn’t he going to start farting again?

But rather than that, Rotalz seemed still all gung-ho about wanting to go on a rampage, and continued to hunt down monsters.

He didn’t voice out anything like 『Rollodeen only needs to concentrate on flying on a safe trajectory』 or 『It’s my turn to put in some effort』, but I felt like Rotalz’s actions carried that meaning.

Rotalz got a rough way of talking, but…he’s probably got some soft parts to him, seeing how he’s considering Rollodeen like that. He’s a decent bloke.

Though he might be simply thinking that he wants to be spared of becoming Rollodeen’s playmate…seeing how he occasionally hinted at being courted by Rollodeen…

Rollodeen flew on slowly. Her head was similar to a gigantic, back tiger. Her torso was that of a horse, dragon, griffon, or maybe lion. Well, Rollodeen is a divine beast, so whatever.

Either way, she was gliding through the air like a queen who was dominating all beasts. While growling and extending her tentacles in all directions, she hurled instructions at Rotalz.

Rotalz attacked the sky monsters, resulting in only jellyfish being left.

“Nnn――nyaooo.”

My partner was very happy. I suppose it’s because she always wants to take flight. That’s why I’ll let her enjoy flying as she wants at least at times like now.

『It’ll become a slight detour on the way to the apple orchard, but don’t worry about it and fly as you please. While at it, you can also clean up the skies over the Sea of Trees』, I passed on to my partner through the rein tentacle.

Of course, Sana-san and Hina-san were on Rollodeen’s back as well. So flying restfully and stably was of utmost importance.

Rollodeen understood my feelings on the matter, and after meowing curtly, she purred at me with a throaty voice as if looking to be pampered. Moreover, she moved her head diagonally above, trying to take a look at me. At the same time, several small tentacles extended from the lower neck, touching my cheeks.

“Nn, how nice. Rollo-chan, acting spoiled,” said Eva with a smile next to me.

She extended a finger and poked one of the small tentacles caressing my cheeks, before touching it.

“Hehe,” chuckled Kisara.

Kisara was sitting on her spear like a proper witch would sit on her broom.

“…Shuuya-sama, you look like you are having fun.”

I nodded at her observation.

For a while, I left everything up to Rollo’s will as we flew through the sky. Stooping over, I stroked the head of my partner. My partner had properly protected Hina-san and Sana-san with her tentacle bone swords and flame breath.

Then again, even my keen partner couldn’t detect the sneak attack by Sardyne who had erased her presence by fusing with a tree.

Honestly…this world sure is vast. There exist sniper-like abilities allowing you to attack from a distance with arrows or pebbles. Different types of mana detection and assaults surpassing human knowledge should exist as well.

I stood up while thinking about all that, and the instant I thought about looking at the sky, Rollodeen manipulated her tentacles and black fur ― probably having guessed my intention ― and lifted them up as a foothold so that I’d be able to enjoy the sky scenery. Or maybe as a lookout for reconnaissance.

“Thanks, Rollo.”

“Nyao.”

I got on the pedestal on the back of her head, and checked the area around us. It made me feel as if I was owning the cool and clear sky.

At first it was a comfy, cloudless sky, but…at some point, the number of cloud schlieren started to increase. Was it influenced by Rollodeen’s eyes? No, that can’t be.

And then I spotted the battle between Hoffmann and the divine forces. They were quite far away, beyond Mt. Baldok… I’d say, southeast of the Sea of Trees.

I could see blood spraying like fickle fireworks. Sounds of explosions intermittently echoed through the mountains.

“Nn, divine domain forces superior? The Buu-san people you mentioned before, Shuuya.”

“Their heads with the golden halos stand out, but I can’t tell the details of the battle since it’s too far away.”

“Shuuya-sama, look over here…”

“Yeah, the ones fighting are a flock of dragons…and a bear, bird, or octopus?”

I pointed a finger while agreeing with Kisara and following her eyes. Beyond my fingertip fought dragons and a huge monster that seemed to combine a big bear and bird.

The bird bear brandished its claws while roaring. One of the dragons answered its cry.

While roaring itself, it swung the claws extending from its arm, repelling the bird bear’s claws. Bird bear and a dragon grappled and bit each other’s bodies. Probably being the stronger one between the two, the dragon used its tail to unleash a ferocious blow against the bird bear’s torso.

“It looks like a bear’s torso, but…”

“Dokoko-san…no, have you ever seen such a huge bear flying around somewhere? The wings on its back look like those of a falcon.”

“…If it’s an ape man with such wings, I’ve seen it before. But, a bear with wings is a first! That might be Bear King Gyuondan. He was mentioned in the monster book.”

Come to think of it, Eva did possess such a book.

“I happened to hear that name as well. A desert king bear also inhabited the Great Goldix Desert. Just like the large scorpion soldiers and big frog dragons, it preferred worm children. And, the adult worms, who rampaged after having their children eaten up, became a huge danger for all inhabitants of the desert.”

“Hee.”

Survival of the fittest applies everywhere, I guess.

Thereupon, Rollodeen urged me to hunt and play through her tentacle, but since we got Hina-san and Sana-san with us, I told her to continue with the relaxed flight without eating any bears.

In the meantime, I’ll check my abilities. Support Us!

My Stamina, Mana, Spirit and Luck have gone down. The others have slightly risen, or rather, is that the effect of Baldok having siphoned off all my stats when it evolved? In exchange, Baldok woke up, changed its shape, and I also obtained

, though.

Next, the skill status.

Extra Skills:

First, I’m going to check out Demigod-Slaying Spearmaster.

※ Demigod-Slaying Spearmaster ※

※ Title of the spearmaster who slaughtered the bodies of overwhelming beings who are being called gods on Sela ※

※ Small increase of the magic efficiency for all attributes, Divine Phenomenon Progression, All Growth Correction+ ※

It changed from Supernatural Phenomenon Progression to Divine Phenomenon Progression, but even after touching the term, it doesn’t show me any details.

Next the new combat occupation.

※ White Flame’s Sage Hand User ※

※ One of the rare combat occupations requiring many different conditions to be met such as acquiring the mystical teaching

, which is handed down by the Sage King Souwyn family living on the White Flame King Mountain that worships the divine domain’s “Greater White Snake Dragon God,” and receiving the baptism of Fierce Dragon God Great Yspal ※

※There exist many sage art-based combat occupations, but no one else has met the conditions of acquiring

while having drawn the attention of Greater White Snake Dragon Yn, a kin of Water Goddess Akreshys who has been sharing her sight through the myriads of kin and smaller spirits dwelling in Water Goddess Akreshys’s

I guess

is quite rare as a combat occupation, huh? As for Fierce Dragon God Great Yspal, I know that he’s related to the Sea Light City. But, Greater White Snake Dragon Yn-sama? I don’t know that dragon. And I don’t know the Sage King Souwyn family either, but it looks like I acquired a hidden teaching handed down by that family.

Anyway, let’s check out the skills I got through that new combat occupation.

※ White Flame Sage Hand ※

※ Sage King Style Original

: Sage Art Sub-Technique ※

※ A skill related to Spear Hand-based techniques and the

system ※

※ In addition to creating a white flame curtain in a small range around the user, it adds a weak rise of physical defense, an increase of physical power, and an increase of magic defense to the user. The ones touched by the white flames are burned by the burning fire of sage sorcery. The white flames add a water and physical attribute to the spear hands ※

I kept touching the letters on the display.

※ It requires a high-ranking combat occupation OR a high-ranking ability centered around the water attribute and the

system ※

※ Acquisition of Elixir Law – Original Style with elementary knowledge of the

is indispensable. Obtaining

is required ※

, and

are also indispensable ※

So that’s the reason why it penetrated through Delhart’s tough magic armor, huh? Though I thought I completed it through my imagination while using Grams Ton and Kisara’s spear hands as reference.

Does that mean the effect of

and Akreshys-sama’s power play a not small part in this? But, when the illusion of Akreshys-sama manifested, I didn’t see any of those small spirits around the lake, so I wonder why. I thought those small spirits appeared most of the time when it came to areas related to Divine Domain Seuros…

Let’s take a look at

next…

※ Water Refinement – Demonic Chain Drill ※

※ Water Spear Style Techniques: Original Multi-staged Thrust of the Strong Spear Style. A very small number if you include the sub-styles ※

※ An original multi-staged spear skill connected to the

system. Physical power rises while being boosted with multiple layers of the water attribute. Also raises the spear stabbing speed and the body’s charging speed when close to places with water. A multi-staged thrust with three chains ※

It was a technique focused on a dual-spear style, but instead it’s a multi-staged thrust of the Strong Spear Style, classified as Water Spear Style, eh? For me to end up learning a technique of the Strong Spear Style based on the Water Spear Style before the Wind Spear Style…

Forgive me, Master Achilles. I’m a rebellious spearmaster.

Now then, next is…let’s go with

※ Crimson Storm Drill ※

※ Evil Dragon King Spear Style Techniques: Mystical Magic Spear Small ~ Unknown ※

※ A skill connected to

techniques, exclusive to Magic Halberd Baldok, classified as

※ The user, whose mind is linked with Magic Halberd Baldok, has their abilities stimulated and will be clad by the mana that has been absorbed by Magic Halberd Baldok. But, a part of the user’s Spirit and Man will be devoured by Magic Halberd Baldok ※

※ The souls of the countless evil entities that had been absorbed by Magic Halberd Baldok thus far gush out abnormally, becoming a storm of mana. That storm sweeps across the vicinity as if also devouring the user’s arm, causing the user to accelerate towards the target with dimensional speed while in the thrust motion, and unleashing a the Magic Halberd Baldok’s red storm cloud at the core of the target ※

Exclusive to Baldok, huh? So I guess it’s a weapon-bound technique. Mystical Small ~ Unknown means there’s a medium and large version of it, too? Or maybe king-class and godly? It doesn’t have the small opening to allow an enemy to focus on their defense like

. Besides, since it accelerated so much that Sardyne couldn’t even react, being able to unleash a blow with the destructive force of Gladopalus is a major improvement.

Next, I’ll go with this. I can tell it’s related to Adombraly, but the details are unclear.

※ Armed Demonic Spirit – Ruby Ring ※

※ Proof of the contract with Armed Demonic Spirit Adombraly ※

※ It’s possible to freely imprint a unique crest on the forehead part of Adombraly. In case you choose to add such crest, it will randomly increase an ability of the ring bearer, depending on the artistic style of what was imprinted ※

※ If you keep the Ruby Ring always equipped, it will quicken Adombraly’s growth. As Adombraly grows, it will become possible to have him chance into unique arms and armors. Also increases the possibility for the ring bearer to acquire

A unique crest on his forehead… Moreover, it depends on the artistic style…that sounds neat! I guess I’ll test it out in due time. I think it’d be smart to go with “body” or “inner” first?

I should ask Eva later on.

As for

…yeah, that’s not needed. No, wait…is it possible to shorten chants with

? The chants of word magic are long, so it might be cool if I can have Rebecca, Eva, and Viine learn it by passing it over to them.

I also need to chant for attributes other than water, so it appears unexpectedly worthwhile to learn

and try its functions. If it works as I’m imagining right now, I’ll provide a new Ado for combat-use. And I’ll try to ask Veronica and Mysty to have them make something better for Adombraly to possess. That whip-staff was really decent.

Anyway, on to the next skill – one I understand by intuition.

※ Call of the Water Goddess ※

※ It allows for a part of Water Goddess Akreshys’s power to clad armor or arms. It depends on the affinity with the armor or arm, but it triggers various effect for the user ※

Just like that, we arrived at the place where Golgonshura had been sealed. The prison looked just as before – like a crooked knife or rock ridge, when staring at it from above.

I jumped off Rollodeen and joined up with Rebecca and the others.

“――Miiiilord, how dare you leave me behind here!”

The cute, floating eyeball Adombraly flew over as soon as I landed. His restless flapping of the small wings on his back…reminded me of Balmint who was still being trained by dragon mother, err, dragon sis Sazihali.

“Emissary-sama?? Welcome back!” Catiza greeted.

She spread both arms and her hair formed an exclamation mark while she rode one of her

“Welcome back. Only this place…the former prison of Golgonshura…was peaceful.”

It’s just as Rebecca says…I feel magic source responses from beyond the prison, or rather, on the other side of the apple orchard. The interior of the orchid is a place similar to a cave, which continues sloping downwards.

Suddenly, Adombraly fluttered into my visual field. Helme was chasing Adombraly who was bustling around my head. Rollo, on the other hand, behaved after returning on my shoulder.

“…I’m back, all of you. Ado, stop buzzing around my head. I can’t look at Rebecca.”

“Hey, I heard about it from the blond high elf over there! I also wanted to watch the folks from the Spirit World up in the sky!”

“Adombraly, you can fly while in that form, but your combat-use Ado already broke. And even if it didn’t break, it can’t fly, can it? Besides, you’re not connected through Dark Hell Bone Knight with the Spirit World like the Burning Knights, are you?”

I showed him my ring.

“Kuuh…you’re right. I’m not the type who goes back to the Spirit World. But, I still feel jealous.”

“Really? Well, the Burning Knights are special, I guess.”

Thereupon, the two knights joined the conversation.

“――His Excellency, the suzerain of bloodkin, is the one and only for me. I, Red Burning Knight Adomos, live through the mana linked to His Excellency.”

“――Likewise, I, Black Burning Knight Zemetas, am also founded on His Excellency’s mana.”

“Indeed. We are His Excellency’s exclusive Burning Knights. We are beings surpassing the standard of

, possessing a unique connection with him! We have our honor as His Excellency’s Burning Knights!” Support the translator by reading this series on their blog at infinite novel translations

The Burning Knights energetically genuflected in front of me. The area around their knee developed cracks on the ground.

As always, they’re very passionate. The spewing of their puff-puff mana smoke or steam is so intense that I can feel some rage from it.

“…Exclusive, huh? Certainly,” I commented while looking at Adombraly.

The Ado globe had tilted downwards as if to exude an aura of sadness.

“Adombraly, don’t you have your ability to possess and fuse with the head of a Red Moon puppet soldier instead?”

As soon as I praised him, the globe rose up again and light gleamed in the iris of his eye. As that light spread, a crowd of wrinkle-like blood veins created a cheerful mood on the globe.

He’s an eyeball, but the way he expresses his emotions is manifold and funny.

His mouth immediately broke into a broad grin and he immediately rattled down, “――Fuhahaha! Milord! Even if you flatter me, it’ll only cause me to tear up! Besides, my power as Armed Demonic Spirit is still not so noteworthy yet.”

His appearance is comical.

“Arms and armor, correct?”

I knew since I checked his skill.”

“Milord, do you also possess an ability to read minds?”

“No.”

“It felts as if you do. Anyway, right now it’s impossible, but I’ll become capable of transforming into milord’s exclusive armor and partial arms and armor.”

“Just like Schmihazar used you?”

“…That was because I was also connected with Iglued, but I hated that.”

“Oh well, I’ll look forward to it then. For now, return into your ring.”

“Sure.”

Adombraly suddenly rotated while flapping his wings, and then his body dissolved while turning into red mana particles, before congregating into the ring in one go. I had the Burning Knights also return to the Spirit World through their ring.

Afterwards, I explained the details to Rebecca and Catiza. In the middle of it, Catiza said that she’s leaving the rest to Tsuan, and swapped with him.

“It sounds like it was an intense battle. Over here it was peaceful, though.”

“We were on alert, but we could only tell that things were uproarious up in the sky.”

Rebecca and Tsuan said. Then Tsuan added, “I tried to examine the magic sealing door of Golgonshura’s prison while you were gone, boss, but I could only tell that it uses metal that uses hard adamantine wood on the outside. And on the inside…”

At that point Tsuan faltered.

“On the inside?”

“Yes, the interior was a terrible mess…”

Tsuan averted his eyes.

“…Yep,” Rebecca whispered.

“What do you mean?”

“Demi-Goddess Golgonshura was defeated by you, but I feel like I understand the reason why she hurried to unleash that dimension-tearing magic while sacrificing her own body,” Rebecca explained while awkwardly looking at Ciel.

Ciel’s atmosphere had completely changed. She had become thin, making her shoulder bones stick out. With her eyes turned downwards, she was constantly staring at the grass growing beneath her feet.

No, it wasn’t the grass. She was looking at the white heart that used to be Jody. The stone now looked like an antimony gem. My name was visible in blue letters on its surface.

The contract, huh?

I recalled the expression Jody revealed when she tried to lead us here.

『Okay, then, come this way』, she had said. It felt like she had 『obtained a long-standing desire』. It was an expression full of joy and happiness.

She might have been a moth with a mostly white color, but as a woman she was extremely close to a human shape and she was a beauty. Very memorable.

『Spearmaster-sama! Please open this door! Please!』, she had frantically appealed in front of the door. And when Golgonshura had appeared, Jody and Ciel had pounced on Golgonshura as if having returned to being children. They gave me the impression of little kids who had been missing motherly love.

But, now…Ciel was like a different person, hollow and powerless.

I averted my eyes from her as it hurt just watching, “…I’ll take a peek,” I said to everyone and passed through the sealing door.

I kept descending a narrow stairway. The touch beneath Arzen’s Boots felt like I was treading across concrete.

The stairway quickly ended, and I came out in a spacious room. The room was filled with a cold, heavily stagnated air that smelled rotten.

After switching my armor to its short-sleeved version, I felt the coldness even more strongly. The floor was gray and looked like it’d cause an echo from something as tiny as the drop of a needle.

Suddenly, my pocket quivered. It seemed the egg-shaped gem squirmed.

『…I can’t really sense any magic elements』, Helme commented vigilantly in the left corner of my visual field while holding a syringe.

“Nnn――”

Rollo, who had been quietly resting on my shoulder, reacted. The trembling gem in my pocket apparently drew her interest, and thus she extended some tentacles, throwing punches at it.

“Rollo, I know your feelings, but this is no ball. Hold back for now, okay?”

Rollo-san stopped her cat punches, and stared at me. Then she shifted her eyes back to the pocket, and was about to throw another volley of punches, but I stopped her by tightly grabbing her small tentacles. After some back and forth, Rollo stopped her struggling and only tapped my back with her long tail.

Now then, let’s examine Golgonshura’s prison…
