The Prisoner I Chose to Marry

Synopsis

Lin Yaoyao has read this story before, and she knows how it ends for the girl who marries the charming elder brother. So when the Empress lets the candidates choose, she asks for the second young master of Princess Yunyang's manor — a prodigy who called the Emperor a tyrant and has rotted in the imperial prison ever since. The court calls it madness. A jealous commandery princess calls it a lie and demands proof, so Yaoyao offers to be carried into the prison in her bridal sedan that very night. Her groom has already sworn he will never marry her.
