Synopsis

The empire's new empress is a fraud. Flora Caffi was raised as a body double, sent north to marry the tyrant who razed her kingdom, and told to survive however she can. Emperor Ottol Sionea will not touch her, will not look at her, and will not explain the red glow in his eyes the night she finds him wrecking his own study.
