He was an office worker, an otaku and a virgin, and none of that had ever stopped him from dreaming of falling in love with a strong alpha male.
One day, while crossing the street with his eyes glued to his phone, he failed to notice the reckless driver speeding toward him. But he was not so easy to send to the afterlife, so he dodged the truck.
Unfortunately, Truck-kun had not come alone. He avoided the second vehicle too. But as they say, the third time is the charm. Another truck appeared and finally sent him straight to heaven.
Heaven, however, looked strange. Status windows appeared in front of him like in a video game, and he quickly realized that he had been transported into an isekai world. Instead of a fantasy world full of swords and magic, though, he had been reincarnated into a dating game. An omegaverse BL game, no less.
In this world, even men could become pregnant. Surprisingly, he did not mind at all. The game was the exact one he had been playing before he died, a Thai game called My Boss Is Not in a Good Mood. In its story, he reincarnated as Sher Kanti, the youngest son of a wealthy and powerful business family. His father and his older twin brothers were all top-tier alphas, while he was a recessive omega, the lowest of the low.
Still, that did not bother him, because he was completely confident in himself. Sher lived a comfortable life, and despite being an omega, he was incredibly attractive. There was only one problem. His father had arranged a marriage for him with an alpha male, and naturally Sher wanted nothing to do with it. To buy himself some time, he suggested going on a date with the alpha first.
The alpha immediately stared him up and down and said that he had once seen Sher at a party and had not stopped thinking about him since. He insisted that they were meant for each other. Sher found the comment disgusting, especially because the alpha kept staring at his hands the entire time, as if he had some strange finger fetish. The alpha continued, saying that if they married, there would be things Sher would have to accept about him.
But to Sher, the man was just an arrogant jerk. When the alpha tried to grab his hand, Sher recoiled in disgust and attempted to leave.
At that moment, the game system activated a mission that required him to choose help from one of two alpha men with completely different personalities. The first was Jin Churikan, a handsome, kind-hearted alpha with a warm personality. He was the type of man everyone loved instantly, and also the president of a successful company. The second was Pakpan, though everyone called him Pakito. Unlike Jin, Pakito was cold, sharp-tongued and intimidating. He was a powerful leader in the entertainment industry and the owner of a major company. While incredibly handsome, his personality was awful.
Sher already knew who he wanted. Obviously, he chose Jin, the walking green flag. He stood up to run toward him while loudly claiming that he was being harassed by an old creep. But while trying to escape, Sher tripped over his own feet and fell directly into someone's lap.
And of course, that someone was Pakito.
Pakito looked down at him with a surprisingly calm and gentle expression. Sher stared back, thinking that this man was now apparently going to become his main love interest. Meanwhile, the system congratulated him as if they were newlyweds. Sher became furious, because Pakito's in-game portrait had looked much friendlier than he did in real life.
Pakito asked whether Sher had just claimed he was being harassed, but before he could continue, a scent suddenly filled the air. At first it seemed like an awful smell, but it was actually Sher's pheromones. Pakito realized that Sher's pheromones were overwhelmingly attractive, far stronger than any omega he had ever encountered.
Meanwhile, Sher internally panicked. He wished he could restart the game, because the perfect Korean-style alpha of his dreams had been right in front of him, only for him to accidentally fall into Pakito's arms instead. And Pakito looked exactly like the type of dangerous delinquent who would beat someone up without hesitation.
Sure enough, Pakito shoved him away harshly and complained that Sher had ruined his expensive designer suit. He accused him of acting shamelessly and trying to seduce men in public. Sher froze at the verbal attack while Pakito continued mocking him. When Sher said that he felt terrible, Pakito coldly replied that he did not care.
Yet instead of becoming upset, Sher became intrigued. He thought to himself that Pakito was rude, violent and unbearable. But turning that prideful hatred into love sounded interesting.
At that moment, Jin arrived and asked Sher if he was okay. Sher immediately regretted everything, because he had accidentally chosen Pakito instead of Jin. Without hesitation, he complimented Jin's beautiful and sexy voice, leaving the blond alpha awkwardly thanking him.
Meanwhile, Sher's creepy date tried defending himself, but Pakito gave him a terrifying glare. The man became so frightened that he attempted to run away, but Sher refused to let him escape. He chased after the alpha, grabbed him from behind and slammed him to the ground with a perfect suplex, knocking him unconscious instantly. Everyone around them was left speechless.
Sitting triumphantly on top of the defeated alpha, Sher realized that he should have handled things himself from the beginning instead of waiting for someone else to save him. The system congratulated him for completing the mission, though it refused to give him a reward, because the mission had specifically required Pakito to rescue him. Sher then revealed that in his previous life, despite being an office worker, he had also practiced Muay Thai.
Taking advantage of the situation, he stole all of the unconscious alpha's money and handed it to Pakito, telling him to buy himself something nice and maybe pay for dry cleaning his ruined suit. Sher jokingly said that this was what real flirting with style looked like. Unfortunately for him, Pakito was not easy to impress and immediately told him off.
The next day, Sher was driving around in a luxury car while complaining that he had been kicked out of his house.
Earlier that same day, his father, the head of the family, had angrily ordered him to pack his things and leave for disgracing the family during the date. When Sher tried arguing back, his father slapped him across the face and accused him of embarrassing the family name. His father could not understand why someone as attractive as Sher refused to obediently marry into a powerful alpha family.
Sher responded with complete indifference, which earned him another slap. One of his brothers eventually stepped in to stop the beating. Back in the present, Sher reflected that even if this world was just a game, getting hit still hurt. Still, he comforted himself with the fact that he owned a luxurious condominium anyway, so he did not need his father's house.
Suddenly, the system announced a new main mission. Help Pakito deal with another troublesome omega trying to steal men away from others. Sher could not help wondering why someone as intimidating as Pakito would even need help. The reward for completing the mission was unlocking the affection level window for every character.
Sher assumed the mission would be easy. All he had to do was throw water at the home-wrecker dramatically.
Except he accidentally threw the water on Pakito instead.
