Hearing his surprised exclamation, everyone else crowded around the stone and asked how this was possible.
Allen, having created several pistols, answered them that it was all about this weapon. Of course, everyone was confused and surprised. None of them had ever seen anything like it before. And when they learned that this miracle weapon had a whopping 153 attack points, they were shocked. That was a lot.
Emma, with a proud smile, told them that it was very easy to use. You just needed to point the weapon at the enemy and pull the trigger. She demonstrated it to them, and the recoil made her hands rise, and she almost shot those guys.
One of them wanted to ask who Allen even was, and turned to him — but he was no longer there. He had already managed to leave.
The adventurers pounced on the two of them, asking to be shown the weapon, while Allen thought that wasting time there was pointless. It was time for him to go.
He didn't know it, but an adventurer named Melissa was very interested in him.
After some time, Lucas and his team finally came out. They had finished in almost fifty minutes, and they were sure that they had won the time trial. They sat down at the entrance to wait for those self-confident newbies, and one of them said that if they didn't come out in an hour, they would go home. His friend agreed with him and laughed. They were already dead anyway.
An adventurer approached Lucas and said with a smirk that their opponents were actually already gone.
He frowned and asked displeasedly whether they had escaped. His friends laughed and asked whether that meant all their words had been empty chatter.
But the man said that they hadn't escaped. They had completed the dungeon.
Lucas didn't believe him and asked whether he meant to say that those two had completed the dungeon faster than they had. That was just nonsense.
To this, the guy replied that they weren't just faster than them. They had completed this dungeon faster than anyone else in this world.
Lucas was starting to get annoyed. He went to the crystal and angrily slapped it with his hand, exclaiming that he couldn't believe it. But when he saw the new record, and the names Allen and Emma underneath it, he couldn't believe his eyes at first. They had completed the dungeon, which had taken his party almost an hour, in nine minutes.
He sat down. His friend noticed that something was wrong with him and approached him, wondering what was going on. He whispered in shock that it was impossible. It was just a lie. He spread his arms out to the sides and cried out in tears that he couldn't lose.
Soon, word of this incident reached high circles. After reviewing Allen's dossier, a man noticed that he was indeed a serious opponent.
There was a knock at the door. He allowed the man outside to enter, and an assassin appeared on the threshold, saying that he'd heard there was a favor to ask of him.
The man confirmed this, showing him a photo of Allen, and the assassin noted with puzzlement that it wouldn't be easy with him.
The man threw a large bag of coins on the table and said that he would pay handsomely, and let him kill this guy.
Fearing Lucas's revenge, Emma decided to temporarily change her location, and walked with Allen to the nearest town. But it was time to say goodbye. She bowed, thanking him for everything, and he asked if she really had to leave. If she needed it, he could drive them off.
She exclaimed that this was impossible. She was an adventurer, too. She couldn't rely on him forever.
He decided not to argue with her and told her to take care of herself, and she joyfully jumped up, asking him not to change the Wolf Mine record. She wanted her name to go down in history.
He answered with a smile that he would take her request into account, and she joyfully waved her hands, inviting him to gather the group again when they met. Then their paths diverged.
A few days later, Allen came to a place to test his skill. He found a remote wasteland — the perfect place. He used the creation skill and prayed for it to work, since his future effectiveness depended on it.
Thank God, he succeeded. He created a huge tank.
On the outside, everything was perfect, but he had doubts about the controls, so he climbed inside. Luckily, the tank's insides were also perfectly reproduced, and he decided to test it in action. He told the tank to move forward, but it didn't react. It seemed it didn't work without fuel after all.
In principle, if he understood the structure, he could create anything through creation. But there were exceptions. Formless things, like water, electricity and gasoline. However, this was also expected, and he had already come up with a countermeasure. In the world of ZFO, magic stones were converted into universal energy and used, which meant that the things he created should also run on magic stones.
He inserted a magic stone into the slot, and the tank immediately moved forward. He was already happy that he had succeeded, but after a few meters, the tank stopped and the stone shattered.
He asked, disappointed, whether this tank had used up all its magic power in an instant. He decided not to try his luck or waste resources any longer, and climbed out of the tank.
Right now, he simply didn't have enough power to operate it. To use the tank, he needed higher quality magic stones. And yet, now he knew that they could be used as a power source.
But the experiments weren't over. This time, he decided to try creating something smaller. He ended up with a voice controlled drone.
He inserted a magic stone into the drone, lifted it into the sky, and decided to see how long it would last. He ordered the drone to gain altitude and record a video of the surroundings. After waiting a few seconds, he thought with a smile that the level of consumption was acceptable, and if he installed a weapon instead of a camera, it could probably be used in combat.
The drone finished recording. He created a tablet and connected them with a cable to see what he had made.
The video turned out better than he had thought — and then he noticed something in one of the frames. He immediately paused it. It showed people hiding behind a rock, apparently watching him.
He frowned and wondered whether they were related to those idiots he'd fought with at the Wolf Mine. If so, then their bloodlust was pretty high. In any case, he didn't like being watched, so he decided to go and ask them directly what they wanted.
But first, he crafted a weapon for himself.
