Synopsis

Ritsuki Kakuyama died the day his university letter arrived, and opened his eyes as Ian, third of four children in a farmhouse where the system's first message was that he was nobody. Then a wandering mage burns a bear off him in the berry wood and offers him her hand. Seven years of a dead language later he walks north with a merchant caravan, expecting an adventure. What waits on that road is a drake with a broken heart, a girl travelling under a false name, and knights who call darkness cowardice.
