Chapter 3A Hero at Ralph Love

Sometime later, a hero arrived in the city accompanied by his party, being introduced to the famous blacksmith street, a place known for gathering the most skilled craftsmen on the continent. Everything there was of the highest quality, filled with rare weapons and unique equipment, practically a sacred place for adventurers. The hero commented that the place seemed incredible, but that the atmosphere was a bit different from what he had heard.

The group's scout explained that the forge he was looking for was called Ralph Love. When they arrived, there was no one there to assist them, so they began looking at the items on display. The mage then asked about the rumors he had mentioned, and the hero said he had heard that master blacksmiths were extremely powerful and rough, but that this did not seem to be the case there.

The scout explained that everyone followed strict rules, and that breaking them could result in severe punishment, even the loss of one's arms. The hero thought that sounded exaggerated, almost like a bluff, but soon the owner of the forge, Baron Brook, appeared and made it clear that it was no joke. He explained that those rules existed to keep everyone under control, and asked what the group wanted.

The hero then mentioned a so-called monstrous weapon, something he had heard about. Baron Brook immediately denied it, saying they did not deal with that kind of thing, since creating weapons from monster parts was an absolute taboo on that street. Even so, the hero insisted, revealing that he already knew everything, and mentioning a weapon marked with a horn and a hammer.

At that moment, his eyes turned red and a strange energy began to surround his body, drawing the mage's attention. She noticed he had been acting increasingly strange ever since he found that weapon. She tried to stop him, saying it was not worth forcing the blacksmiths to break their taboos. For a moment he seemed to agree, saying it was better not to waste time there, but suddenly he attacked without warning and beheaded the mage, stating that two sacrifices would be enough.

Then he killed the scout as well, making it clear that he would keep killing until someone revealed the location of the monstrous weapon. Finally, he revealed his own weapon, which seemed to be taking control of his body. As he unleashed its power, something sinister emerged, and several monstrous creatures began invading the place, destroying everything around them. A massive explosion engulfed blacksmith street, while the creatures advanced to devour and kill everyone.

Even wounded beneath the rubble, Baron Brook still insisted that no one there would break the taboo, that they would rather die than do so. He also warned that it was a weapon humans should never use, and asked whether the hero could not see how his mind had been corrupted since he found it.

The hero, however, completely ignored him, saying it did not matter, as he recalled the moment he found that weapon, when a corpse appeared drifting before him. He then declared that he needed it to achieve his goal, that he needed the power of that weapon, making it clear he did not care whether it was a monstrous weapon or not, because in the end what truly mattered was the power needed to become a true hero.

With that, he attempted to kill Baron Brook right there. But before the blow could land, Ash suddenly appeared and blocked the attack with ease.

At that moment, Yuta also appeared, commenting that it had been a while since she had seen someone like him, treating the situation with a calm, almost provocative tone, as she asked how he had been. The hero wasted no time and launched a counterattack, but Yuta easily dodged, saying it was quite rude to try to kill someone on a first meeting.

She added that she had already warned Baron Brook not to deal with strange customers like him, while asking Ash to take care of the old blacksmith. Even so, Baron Brook still tried to warn her, reminding her of the taboo of blacksmith street, saying those weapons should never be used. But Yuta no longer accepted that. She replied that those rules had served no purpose, that all of it had only led them to this miserable situation.

Enraged, she released the core of her hammer and struck the ground, creating a blazing explosion that opened a massive crater and set everything around on fire. The hero then realized that beneath them there was a draconic lava vein, and soon several monstrous weapons began to appear around Yuta. In a provocative tone, she asked if that was what he was looking for, inviting him to admire her works of art.

The hero then understood that the weapons had been with her all along, and Yuta confirmed it, saying he was right, but that they were not so easy to obtain. Without giving him time to react, she struck a sword in midair with her hammer, tearing off the hero's arm. She continued attacking relentlessly, driving multiple blades through his body until he was completely shattered and covered in blood.

Even so, he still tried to assert himself, declaring that he was the hero, and once again unleashed the power of Ares Satan, causing several monstrous mouths to appear and devour everything around them. Yuta, however, realized that he had barely unlocked the weapon's true potential, and said she would show him the proper way to use it. She then drew her long sword and used her own blood to activate its power, unleashing the force of Hades.

A necrotic rift opened, from which several zombified hands emerged, grabbing and destroying the mouths of Ares Satan, completely turning the tide. The hero could hardly believe what was happening, and soon he too was pulled into that rift, dragged by what seemed like a river of the dead. Yuta explained that he had managed to activate the weapon with human blood, but that proper use required the wielder's own blood, and that the more he sacrificed, the more power he would gain.

Even so, she made it clear that wielding a power like Hades at that level was not something an ordinary human could achieve. Emerging from the smoke, she approached the hero, now completely destroyed, saying she did not know how he had managed to get his hands on Ares Satan, but that in the end it only made her job easier.

She also explained that the weapon consumed the user's mind, but that by forming a contract with it, it was possible to control that power, something the blacksmiths of the street ignored because they considered it taboo. When the hero asked who she really was, Yuta answered simply that she was just a blacksmith, but that there was something that made her different from the others.

At that moment, the other blacksmiths of blacksmith street were also fighting against the remaining creatures of Ares Satan, proving that they were not as weak as they seemed. In the end, they all managed to defeat the creatures, showing that the place was filled with unique talents. With everything settled, Yuta sarcastically introduced the false hero to the true blacksmith street, making it clear that he was nothing more than an idiot.
