Sher, meanwhile, went right on annoying Pakito after being dragged into the private condominium room following the water incident.
He casually commented that Pakito was really skilled at throwing people to the ground, yet still hired bodyguards anyway. He also pointed out how ruined Pakito's hairstyle looked.
Pakito stayed silent for a moment before replying that Sher was the same troublesome omega from the restaurant. Then he slipped his hand inside his jacket. Terrified, Sher immediately begged him not to pull out a gun. Pakito calmly clarified that he only wanted a cigarette.
He then demanded an explanation for what had happened earlier. Sher hurriedly explained that the water incident had been a complete accident. He added that he also lived in the condominium and had merely witnessed an argument, so he had tried stepping in to calm things down.
Pakito remarked that Sher spoke very smoothly. When Sher happily thanked him for the compliment, Pakito bluntly informed him that it was not a compliment. The president continued interrogating him, asking whether he was simply some ordinary citizen trying to maintain the peace without expecting anything in return. Sher nodded seriously and formally apologized while calling him Mr. President.
Pakito frowned and asked whether Sher even knew who he was and what kind of position he held. Once again, Pakito reached inside his jacket, making Sher nervously remind him that smoking too much was bad for his health. This time, however, Pakito pulled out a handgun and pointed it directly at Sher's face while demanding to know who the hell he really was.
With his heart practically jumping out of his chest, Sher quickly handed over his ID card and insisted that he had no bad intentions. Pakito passed the card to his secretary, Shin, who soon returned with a tablet containing detailed information about Sher.
After reviewing the data, Pakito realized that Sher's background was spotless. He also confirmed that Sher's family had no connection to his company, and that their reservation at the condominium had been made long before Pakito arrived there. Still annoyed, Pakito thought that an apology alone was not enough, and that throwing Sher onto the floor at least a thousand times would be more appropriate justice.
Even so, he knew it would not be wise to start problems with the Kanti family. Sher's father was an influential president, and his twin brothers, Bomb and Bai, were famous alpha leaders with strong reputations in high society. Pakito told Sher that he was lucky to have such a powerful family backing him up. Sher denied that his confidence came from his family and insisted that he would act exactly the same even without their support.
With a cold look, Pakito sarcastically asked where Sher's famous Thonburi district gang was. Although Sher's family had dealt with questionable matters before, they had never acted like uncontrolled street thugs the way a certain someone did. Sher suddenly realized that Pakito was genuinely insulting him.
Pakito stood up, walked over, grabbed Sher by the cheeks and shook his face from side to side while saying that he looked ugly, horrible and ridiculous with that hairstyle. Sher replied that it was his body and his choice, but that Pakito was wrong about one thing. He definitely was not ugly.
Pakito raised an eyebrow skeptically, but after sensing a slight change in Sher's pheromones, he decided to let the matter slide for now. He explained that he understood the situation, but warned Sher that if he caused trouble again, he would make him pay the consequences.
Sher gratefully accepted the warning and left as quickly as possible.
Back in his room, Sher reflected on how close he had come to dying, while cursing the game for putting him in such a ridiculous situation. The system then announced a penalty: three minutes of tooth pain. Unable to stop complaining, Sher kept whining about it, causing the system to double the pain instead.
The next morning, Sher attended university, where his professor assigned the class a difficult project. Interview a successful businessman. At first Sher considered interviewing his brothers, but the professor clarified that family members were not allowed.
Then the system assigned him a new main mission. Interview an alpha president. If he failed, he would not receive a grade and would instead be forced to do faculty chores for an entire week.
Without hesitation, Sher prepared his interview questions and headed to the condominium gym, where he found Pakito. The moment Pakito saw him, he reached into his jacket again. Sher immediately reminded him that smoking was prohibited inside the gym. But Pakito, looking exhausted, pulled out his gun once more and pointed it directly at Sher's face.
Sher desperately begged Pakito to help him, claiming that he was just a poor student trying to get a good grade. Pakito stared at him with a terrifyingly calm expression. As he analyzed the situation, he realized that this was already the third time he had run into Sher, and he became convinced that everything was intentional.
With a sigh, Pakito turned his back and asked why he specifically had to help, questioning since when the two of them had become so close. Sher replied that his professor would be thrilled if he managed to interview an alpha president. He added that his father would probably be proud too, and might even forgive him for all the recent trouble.
Clearly irritated, Pakito responded that he did not care about Sher's personal problems, that Sher only ever talked about himself, and that he should just get lost.
Sher tried holding himself back, because he did not want to seem too pushy, but the mission reward was far too tempting. With no other options left, he decided to use his secret weapon. Putting on a dramatic expression, Sher confessed that the real reason he kept following Pakito was because he loved him and had fallen for him completely.
The moment Pakito heard that, he froze stiff. Meanwhile, Sher internally reasoned that confessing to someone, even if they did not return the feelings, could still have a positive effect, because knowing someone likes you can feel comforting. He even added that he would love to become Pakito's partner someday.
Pakito looked seconds away from snapping, and the system warned Sher that Pakito's irritation points were increasing rapidly. Finally losing his temper, Pakito punched Sher directly in the stomach, knocking the air out of him. Pakito reminded him that he had already warned him not to bother him again. He also made it painfully clear that coming from a rich family did not put Sher on his level. He called him a spoiled brat and mocked him for being nothing more than a weak omega. To Pakito, Sher was worthless trash.
Pakito then ordered his guards to throw him out. Moments later, Sher was literally dumped outside like garbage, lying sprawled on the ground dramatically. While trying not to cry, Sher complained that Pakito should not be hitting his future husband, and sadly insisted that he was not a trash bag that could simply be thrown away like that.
Back in his apartment, Sher reflected on everything that had happened and realized that he still had three weeks left to complete the assignment. He figured that if he kept insisting long enough, Pakito would eventually give in, but he also did not want to spend all his time begging.
