Synopsis

Yuka Akatsu was six when her grandfather slipped his ring into her hand. She was ten when the clan took it back and gave it to her brother, and sixteen when she decided to take it from him by force. Then Kyoto starts losing people, citizens abducted and drained as energy sources, and the inspector assigned to the case is a foreigner who cries over takoyaki and knows nothing about cursed energy at all. He has a third eye under his hair, and fifty thousand of his people are floating above Nevada, asking politely for somewhere to live.
