Siu then suggested that he take a break and do nothing for a while, but Sihon revealed his plan to move to the countryside. He said he was moving to the outskirts of Gyeonggi to start farming. Siu was shocked to hear it, since he knew farming was demanding work. Sihon replied that he was not going there to farm but to focus on his health, which was really a way of saying he was going there to recuperate.
Siu was not entirely surprised, since Sihon had always liked growing plants, which meant he could use the opportunity to tend a small garden for exercise. From Theophilo's perspective, he also needed a forest to make sure he could stabilise this vessel. He was a druid, and having no nature force did not sit right with him.
Just then his brother suggested that he start filming for YouTube again, reminding him that his old plant channel was still active. Sihon replied that he was not particularly interested, but Siu insisted, reminding him that he used to do it all the time. People were still leaving comments asking where he had gone.
In his own defence, Sihon claimed that doing too many things at once was nothing but a waste of energy. Siu then told him that he was only worried about what his brother was going to do all by himself, stuck out in the countryside. He used his cute face to ask Sihon to at least upload some simple videos, even if it was only for him.
Seeing how cute his brother looked, Sihon found it hard to say no, and he eventually agreed and told Siu he would do it. He said, however, that he would not show his face and would only upload whenever he felt like it, so it would be like a diary of sorts. Siu assured him that just uploading was more than enough for him. They were in the middle of this when a lady named Ayoung showed up, calling Sihon's name.
The moment he locked eyes with her, his breath stopped, an involuntary reaction from a body that was telling him Sihon had truly loved this woman. At the same time, Theophilo's instincts were screaming a warning, because in Sihon's memories she was a snake. Sihon had loved her, and she had exploited that weakness and made sure to use him for her heavy-duty work.
She had also made sure to pin every mistake she made on him. Even though Sihon had known she was a terrible person, he had gone on tolerating her trashy behaviour. Seeing that his brother had a visitor, Siu backed off, said he would see him later, and walked away so the two of them could talk.
After his brother's departure, Sihon took a deep breath before asking Ayoung what brought her to the hospital. Ayoung was stunned by the question and began to stutter. It was shocking to her, because Sihon had always looked at her with sweet eyes and spoken kindly to her. It was obvious that his sudden coldness had thrown her.
When she managed to speak, she told him she was there because the core of the project was missing. She wasted no time putting the blame on him, saying it was a project he had worked on. What she did not know was that she was not talking to the Sihon she had known any more. He replied casually that he did not remember what she was talking about, and mentioned that he had gone through major surgery which had caused him to lose his memory of a few things.
Ayoung panicked and urged him to try to remember, since it was extremely important. Sihon dropped a shock on her by telling her that the project was not important to him, and that he had already handed in his resignation letter, so it was not his project any more. Ayoung was stunned when she heard this, because she knew the whole situation did not speak well for her.
She resorted to her usual antics, trying to act cute in front of him and telling him she would be in a lot of trouble if he did not help. It only increased his disgust, because he could not believe she was trying to pull such a shameless trick again. The disgust on his face was pronounced, and Theophilo decided that Sihon had terrible taste when it came to women.
Sihon then spoke up and told Ayoung that he was going to let the fact that she had used him slide, and let her know that he was aware of what she had been doing. He mentioned how she had dumped all of her work on him and pinned her mistakes on him. Ayoung was taken aback as she tried to understand what was happening in front of her, and he only made it worse for her.
He told her that coming to him after he had already submitted his resignation letter was the lowest thing she could do as a person. Ayoung tried to defend herself, saying she had only come to him because he was the person in charge. Sihon corrected her: he was no longer the person in charge.
Ayoung lost it and finally revealed her true self, groaning at him that she had only done it because she was worried about him. Sihon was glad she had finally shown her colours, and he understood that it was important to sever the karmic threads between her and the man whose body he wore, because he was Theophilo now, not Sihon.
After giving her what she deserved, he got up and told Ayoung that she was free to leave, since they had nothing else to discuss. Ayoung tried to speak, but he urged her to send whatever she wanted to say by text. As he walked away, she screamed after him sarcastically, wishing him a speedy recovery, and he knew perfectly well that she did not mean it.
He did not care. What he had just done should have told her that he wanted nothing to do with her again. He also planned to ignore every call from the company, since he had a mountain of work to do and could not allow them to hold him back. With that settled, Sihon carried on with his daily life at the hospital, making sure he exercised every day.
His dedication was so impressive that people who used to frown at him started cheering him on. And the moment word got out that his brother Siu was a famous idol, more people began to show him kindness. They served him all sorts of dishes made from vegetables and fruit. He once tasted a sweet berry that sent him into another realm of pleasure as the fruit dissolved in his mouth.
The nurses and patients in the room were surprised at how he reacted to a berry. They teased him for behaving as if it were his first time, not knowing that it actually was his first time. Sihon simply lied and told them it had been a very long time since he had eaten fruit. Compared with what he had eaten during his time as a druid, modern food tasted like heaven.
