As he approached his destination he ended the question-and-answer session and thanked his viewers for their time. Then he heard a familiar cry in the distance, and it caught his attention. Ahead of him, Jong was chasing a water deer with his gun.
From closer up it turned out to be the little deer Sihon had saved, and it was about to lose the second life he had given it. He turned and ran after them, calling out to Jong to calm down and not shoot the deer. He soon realised the old man could not hear him over the sound of his own running, which meant the water deer was in serious danger.
To keep the deer from dying, Sihon had to do something, so he used his power to call up vines that grabbed the old man's leg and stopped him on the spot. It shocked Jong, who wondered where the vines had suddenly sprung from. He was still hell-bent on teaching the deer a lesson, but Sihon caught hold of him and urged him to calm down.
Sihon thought about what to say, and then it came to him. He told Jong that the deer was his pet, which shocked the old man. Jong asked whether he was toying with him, but Sihon let him know that he had rescued the deer from a trap a few days earlier. He told the old man to watch, then knelt down and called the deer to him.
To Jong's surprise the deer walked straight up to him, and Sihon used the moment to tell him that the deer was a good animal. Jong used it against him and asked why, if it was such a good animal, it had torn up his sweet potato field. He urged Sihon to put a collar on it, because the next time something like this happened he was going to bill him.
Sihon assured him that he understood, and just as he was preparing to leave, Jong let him know that he had no intention of killing the deer, because his gun was loaded with blank cartridges. He explained that there was a designated hunting season for water deer, and hunters usually came around at that time. He urged Sihon to do something before the hunting season arrived.
He also mentioned that he had called him over because he wanted to give him the jelly the village chief had made for him. Sihon was surprised to hear it, and Jong said it was acorn jelly, which tasted great paired with lettuce and some spices. Sihon was delighted, and he thanked the old man for the gift.
After that Jong told him to head back home and take care of his deer. Sihon turned to the deer and told it that it would be in trouble if it disturbed Jong's farm again. Then it dawned on him that the deer needed a means of identification, so he tied a piece of cloth around its neck to make sure people knew not to hurt it.
When that was done, he sent the deer back to its mother. At his own house, Jong was still puzzled that Sihon had chosen a deer as a pet when he could have taken a dog or a cat. Sihon, meanwhile, returned home and, to his surprise, found his brother waiting for him.
He was completely blown away and asked Siu why he was there when he had such a tight schedule. Siu revealed that he had some free time, which was why he had dropped by. Sihon noticed that there was someone with him and asked who it was. Siu introduced the man as his road manager, who had also wanted to say hello.
That was when it dawned on Sihon that it was the manager who had recommended the house, and the manager confirmed it, revealing that it had belonged to his grandmother. He asked how life had been in it, since nobody had lived there in a while and it must be hard to maintain. Sihon let him know that it was actually nice and quiet, and suggested they go inside so they could talk over some tea.
The moment they stepped into the house, Siu stood there in shock and told his brother that the place looked abandoned. Sihon argued that he had already scrubbed everywhere, and revealed that he planned to renovate later, which was why he had only cleaned. Then Siu spotted the garden he had been seeing in the videos. He was overwhelmed to see it in person, and Sihon was even more surprised that Siu had been watching his videos at all.
The manager took a look as well and commended him, saying he had never expected anyone to make that garden look so beautiful. Then Sihon noticed that the manager was crying, and the man confessed that seeing someone living in the house again had made him emotional. He revealed that when his grandmother was alive she had loved the garden and had always said it was a blessed spot.
He expressed his relief that he had been able to pass the house down to someone as wonderful as Sihon, and said he hoped he stayed healthy and happy there. Sihon thanked him for the good wishes and assured him that they meant a great deal. Siu then asked whether he could go and look at the greenhouse, and Sihon told him he was free to.
After that Siu made sure to explore every single corner of the house, and he seemed completely excited. At the same time Sihon could see that there was relief in him. Before they knew it the sun had begun to set and Siu was preparing to leave. As he sat in the car, Siu told his brother that he had his approval.
He said he had been worried at first, but after seeing what Sihon had done for himself he could finally relax. He commended him, saying he had had no idea his brother could adapt so well to country life. Then he urged him to fix the house up and put in a powerful air conditioner and other appliances, because he would be coming with his group next time and the house could not look abandoned when they showed up.
Sihon acknowledged this and assured him that he would put everything in place. As Siu was about to leave, Sihon thanked him for coming and urged him to visit again soon. He also urged the manager to come whenever his brother came, and the man assured him that he would. With a smile on his face, Siu told his brother to focus on his health, and let slip that he would be receiving a present very soon.
