While Seo was filming a video for Namu, she felt super awkward and distracted, because he kept staring at her intensely with a strange look. To break the awkwardness, she asked for a break to go out and get some air. But she ran into Sarah instead.
Seeing Seo hanging around Dohyun lately, Sarah had got jealous, and she tried to show off her power by looking down on her and ordering her to go and buy some coffee. Dohyun was standing nearby and heard everything, but before he could speak up, Namu quickly rushed over. "I'll go and buy the coffee for Sarah. That's fine."
Realising that trick hadn't worked, Sarah looked for more trouble and ordered Seo to go and clean her room. At this point Dohyun stepped in personally. He grabbed Seo's hand, pulled her away and said, "I've been looking everywhere for you to teach you how to drive. Let's go."
Sitting in the car, Dohyun still acted grumpy, and threatened Seo not to touch the steering wheel or she would break the car. But she knew full well he was just making an excuse to save her from Sarah's bullying. Her heart suddenly felt unusually warm and happy.
To thank him, that night she made a delicious bowl of soup for him. But Dohyun absolutely refused to eat it, because the simple dish brought back sad childhood memories. The two of them struggled over it, and the soup spilled all over Seo, soaking her from head to toe.
Seeing her in such a mess, Dohyun suddenly felt bad.
Seo said through tears, "I wanted you to eat the soup I made, so that from now on, every time you see soup, you'll think of me instead of your old pain."
Touched by those words, Dohyun stepped closer, picked the bits of food off her, ate them, and smiled. "All right. From now on, I'll only think of you."
A strong chemical reaction sparked between the two of them at that moment.
The next day at the company, Dohyun was surrounded by reporters asking about the wedding with Sarah. Just as Sarah was about to run over and wrap her arms around his waist to show off for the cameras, Dohyun caught a glimpse of Seo watching. He firmly declared, in front of everyone, "Sarah and I have nothing going on. We broke up three years ago."
Sarah was so shocked she froze, while Seo wondered why he could be so heartless.
While Dohyun and Sarah's scandal was giving the CEO a headache, some good news arrived. Namu's video suddenly went viral on social media. He instantly became a sensation and received huge attention from the public.
To get ready for Namu's photo shoot, Seo asked Dohyun to bring the stage outfit to the company. He complained. "I'm a superstar, not a delivery guy." But in the end he still disguised himself completely, like a delivery man, to bring the things to her. He also warned her to be careful, because after the break-up with Sarah there were a lot of paparazzi lurking around, trying to find his real secret lover.
Inside the company, Namu was having his very first interview. When asked if he had a girlfriend yet, Namu didn't hesitate. He looked straight at Seo, who was standing backstage, and confessed, "I don't have a girlfriend yet, but I already have the girl of my dreams."
He ignored the CEO standing next to him, signalling for him to be quiet. Namu even listed a long list of the girl's best qualities, and anyone hearing it would know he was describing Seo.
Dohyun watched this interview and gave Namu some sincere advice. "You're taking too big of a risk. In show business, if you go public with your feelings before you have a solid footing, fans will find it hard to accept, and your career could go down the drain."
That night, Seo tossed and turned, unable to sleep. Through the interview she knew for sure that Namu liked her. In the past, she used to dream of marrying a rich guy like Namu to change her life. But now that the chance had actually come, she felt conflicted and empty. Maybe her heart at this point was no longer just pointing towards Namu's wallet.
Trouble hit again when Sarah called to meet up with Seo. Sarah complained that Dohyun was ignoring her and that she felt very lonely. Seeing that, Seo tried her best to comfort her, and took the chance to give Dohyun a piece of her mind on her behalf. "That Dohyun guy is such a jerk. How could he dare to play with your feelings for so long?"
Hearing this, Sarah corrected her. "It's not his fault. Actually, we broke up on good terms three years ago. I was the one who asked Dohyun to keep it a secret to protect my image."
Seo was floored when she realised she had been blaming him for no reason all this time. But while she was gossiping too much, she accidentally blurted out a bombshell secret. She and Dohyun were living in the same house.
Seo left feeling half convinced and half suspicious of Sarah's kindness. Because she had drunk too much, when she got home she lost all sense of direction and climbed straight into Dohyun's bed to sleep soundly.
The next morning, when Namu came to find her, he saw this heartbreaking scene. Dohyun quickly explained. "Don't get it twisted. She was wasted last night, so I let her have the bed. I slept somewhere else."
Namu took Seo away with him. At the company, many people advised him to fire her, because she was a messy manager who was drunk all the time. But Namu stated firmly, "Seo isn't just a manager. She's the most important person in my life, and no one can replace her."
The drama happened when Dohyun was attacked by the masked killer again in the car park. Right then, a detective who had been hired to investigate the missing money in his account showed up to save the day. The attacker ran away, but Dohyun's arm was injured.
Seo ran over, saw the blood and tried to rip her shirt to make a bandage, the way they do in romance films. The problem was that she kept pulling and it wouldn't tear, and she even tried to use her teeth until her jaw hurt.
Dohyun looked at her with a bitter smile. "Movies lie to people. There's no way it rips that easily."
Seeing that her teeth hurt, he leaned in close to check. At that exact moment, the paparazzi lying in wait caught the moment on camera. From that angle, it looked as if the two of them were kissing passionately.
Immediately, the rumour flooded the news: superstar Dohyun dumped Sarah to chase a strange girl.
The CEO was beyond furious. Dohyun was confused and didn't understand how the secret of them living together had got out. Then Seo suddenly remembered that she had told Sarah.
At the same time, Sarah released a video of herself crying hysterically, claiming that Seo was the other woman who had come between her and Dohyun. The whole world turned to bash the two of them, taking the side of the victim, Sarah.
