In the Jiangnan Group somebody knocked at a door, and the driver, Ajie, came in and told the president that the lady wanted to work with the director of the Shirong Cinema Studio and star in a big-budget film.
Ji Yansi asked what the Shirong Cinema Studio was, and what else he had found out.
Ajie told him that the lady was competing with Su Li, the second young miss of the Su family.
Ji Yansi said that it seemed her plan had already begun, and told Ajie to go and ask every female artist at Yuanchen Entertainment to compete for the position of female lead.
Yuanchen Entertainment was an entertainment company under the Jiangnan Group; the chairman was the largest shareholder behind it, and the boss of Yuanchen, Shen Hu, was his college classmate, and the two of them had founded Yuanchen together. Which was why Ajie wondered why the president would send people to compete against his own wife. Perhaps the two of them had had a fight.
The driver said that if he did that, then the lady —
But the president told him that he did not understand how that world worked. The second young miss of the Su family would certainly spend money if she wanted a part; and Su Fu had gone there to disturb the situation, to create the appearance that she meant to snatch the role, so as to force the second miss of the Su family to be absolutely determined to win the female lead and to not hesitate to pay more to get that position. If they sent people in to compete as well, Su Li would feel a sense of crisis, and then she would squeeze out even more money and use even more of her contacts.
The driver said that this was exactly what one would expect from the president and his wife, and that the two of them were really clever, a single method that struck twice. Although it might cost his own family money and leave them owing a lot of favours, and did not seem to have any other effect. And he told the president that if he did this, the lady would still not be able to act, and would still not be able to return to the entertainment circle.
Then some pages were laid out on the desk, and the president said that these should be sent to her assistant, once they had been passed around.
Ajie exclaimed to God. Those were all the reliable resources from inside Yuanchen, and the director had greeted every one of them; as long as the lady went, she would be selected. He said that the president really did care about his wife, and that all of a sudden he felt a little jealous.
Down in the underground parking, little Lulu asked her mom whether that bad boss had bullied her.
Su Fu wiped her eyes and told her no, she hadn't gone to see that bad boss at all.
Manman asked Sister Fu whether she didn't want to go back to Star Entertainment, and why she hadn't gone to see Yi Fan.
Su Fu asked her whether they weren't here today to get up from the exact place where they had fallen before. And she said that even if she had gone in, he would never have hired her again, so why should she.
Then she asked the little programmer to hack all of Star Entertainment's computer systems, and to unlock them again the next day.
"I understand, Mom," he said.
Yi Fan was a bastard, Su Fu thought. When it all happened back then he had thrown her out regardless of her contract with Star Entertainment, terminated that contract directly, and had the security guards carry her out of the building. So today she would crash his company's system.
She also told Manman that Star Entertainment was a no-go for the moment, and asked her please to help her find other resources and look for a drama she could take.
Manman told Sister Fu yes.
Later, at Ji Yansi's villa, the door was opening, and inside were the rest of the children and their daddy. The babies were happy because their mommy was back, and every one of them wanted to hug her. Her husband looked quite happy too; he took her by the waist and thanked her for all her hard work, but Su Fu told him that the children were still standing right there, so stop, and eat something first.
The kids started on dinner. Little Lulu said that just like that, she and her mom had beaten that aunt named Su Li senseless, and finally her brother Su Gu had been able to unlock the computer system of the entire Star Entertainment company.
But the little detective said that as for the bad people who bullied his mommy, if it were up to him he would never have unlocked their computers at all.
The little doctor told his mommy that he had recently developed some products for dealing with bad people, and that she could take them with her the next time she went out. Su Fu said that she did not want to walk around permanently on the verge of breaking the law.
Then the little programmer told his mother and father that he was full, and went to sit in a corner with his computer. Su Fu wondered whether he had arranged to play with somebody, but the little detective told his mommy that the little programmer had accepted a programming job and that the other person's reward was three hundred thousand.
The little painter told his mommy that everyone here could earn money, and that she didn't need to work so hard, because they would take care of her, together with their daddy.
Su Fu stroked her little baby's head and thought that her children were always so affectionate. But she wanted to go back to the entertainment industry. She wanted to be as good as her babies were.
