Seeing the scene, the director was completely shocked and wondered what that had been just now. The force of the impact threw them both back, surprising everyone watching. The girl fell to the ground hard and ended up hitting a tree with the recoil of the blow.
From afar, two other students watched the scene, worried about the young warrior's condition. They were shocked, and could not believe that a mere commoner had managed to corner the heiress. Then one of them felt a strange pressure, and held his head in pain and confusion. Brian started to feel sick, and his friend asked worriedly what was wrong with him. The boy said that he felt ill, and became terrified as he realised what might be happening. He felt Louis's sinister energy and wondered whether it was what he thought it was.
His companion was furious, and said that their plan had failed, because he had never thought the commoner would be so strong. With his mouth bleeding, Brian remembered a legend and faced the situation with great fear. He added that if the legend was true, they could not let the boy live.
Faye got up with difficulty and faced her opponent. Shocked by the sudden change in power, and consumed by fury, Louis advanced and landed a devastating blow on the girl with all his might. The attack hit her head on, and the force of the impact made her spit some blood. With that, the heiress was thrown back and fell to the ground, completely defenceless against the attack.
Louis let out a roar of fury, showing that he had completely lost control of himself. He then unleashed a series of punches. The young woman said that his power and speed were on another level, and that there was no way she could win. Desperate, the girl realised that if this continued she would surely be done for. With that, she decided to use her secret technique, and a magic circle appeared on her fist.
Then the girl used her fire fist and collided with the boy's attack to defend herself. A huge explosion of red and yellow energy came from the clash of the two powers. The heiress screamed in pain as she was caught in the explosion, and was thrown far away with great force. With the impact she flew through the forest, breaking several trees with her body at high speed.
Louis seemed to be returning to normal. Suddenly the boy came to his senses and realised that he had once again lost control of his body. He looked at his hand and was shocked to realise that it had been the power of magic. Cain ran to help him and asked whether he was all right, but the young man was worried about the girl.
Suddenly an upperclassman appeared and announced that the candidate had lost his emblem during the fight. With a victorious smile, the man said that Louis had been disqualified from the exam. Louis looked at his chest and realised that his admission emblem was catching fire out of nowhere. Then the small flame consumed the entire emblem, turning it to ashes in an instant.
The upperclassman shouted that he had lost, but Cain defended him, saying that it had just been an accident. The man said that the director had seen everything, and asked whether Cain was going to help a cheating commoner. With that, the examiner grabbed him and shouted that trash like him should disappear forever.
Suddenly a voice shouted for him to wait, and a red-haired girl appeared, badly injured but standing. Cain and the upperclassman were completely shocked to see that the young woman was still conscious. Louis was also surprised by the scene, and stared at the girl, not knowing what to say.
The heiress approached and asked whether the boy was safe, which left him very confused. The man was furious and asked whether she wanted to be disqualified for protecting a commoner. But the young woman shouted for him to shut up, and said that she knew his emblem had been burned.
Faye apologised to Louis, and Cain was shocked by the scene. But the boy took all the blame. She then said that he had won, and proposed a new fight when they both got into the academy.
The examiner scoffed at the idea and asked how they would pass if he only had four emblems. The red-haired girl then tore a piece of her clothing with her emblems on it, to give to the boy. She extended her hand and told him to take it, because that was the reward for defeating her. With this, the young man now had a total of fourteen emblems, and could pass the final exam. The warrior reinforced the point that his emblem had burned after the fight, and that that counted.
The upperclassman was furious with the girl's attitude, and shouted her name with great anger. But the redhead ignored the man and got Cain's attention, and he was surprised by her attitude. She said that she would not accept the weak passing while those who deserved it were failed.
At this, the young woman kicked the tip of her spear into the air with a quick and precise movement. She then asked what would happen if the tenth place finisher had fourteen or more emblems in total. Cain gave a smile and said that by coincidence he had been thinking the same thing as her. The girl said that he was not so dumb, and the two ran off to collect more emblems together. Louis just watched the scene with a smile, as the upperclassman walked away very annoyed.
Suddenly the director appeared and said that Louis had been disqualified and would be escorted out. The upperclassman then glared at him and told the boy not to think that this was all over. The noble said that if Faye defeated other candidates, Louis would surely pass the exam. With a sinister look, the upperclassman said it would not be strange if a candidate were taken out by accident. The other noble encouraged him to do it, and hoped that Louis was not like the other weaklings. A sinister presence recalled the feeling from before, and spoke of Louis's true identity.
The director said that martial arts were strong, but that alone they could not match magic. Looking back at the academy, the boy thought that he needed to learn to fuse magic and martial arts.
