He noticed that one of them seemed much more dangerous than the others, and prepared for the worst.
Suddenly the group's leader advanced with a spinning kick and shouted for the boy not to look away. With a malicious smile, the man said that his head would fly with the next blow. But Louis's eyes glowed with a blue energy and he activated his special ability. With that he created several images of himself, and dodged the enemy's attack with ease.
Using his dagger, the boy blocked the blow with a quick and precise movement. The young man threw the attacker to the ground with impressive force. He took the chance and landed a powerful kick on the fallen enemy. Then he dodged another attack, showing his agility and combat skill.
The leader got up and said that the boy had superhuman perception and fighting techniques, just as the report had said. Louis was surprised by the man's words, and wondered what kind of report that was.
The leader admitted that his close combat was good, but questioned how he would deal with magic. With that, the other men fired several magical wind arrows in his direction. The young man prepared for the impact of the attacks, but seemed surprised by their unexpected strength. He managed to dodge just barely, and the arrows stuck into the trees behind him with a green glow.

Louis faced the enemy and thought that this man was really strong and dangerous. With his arms crossed, the man in blue seemed very confident in his victory against the young boy.
Suddenly the other attackers moved and surrounded him from all possible sides. Completely surrounded, the boy realised that he was in a very difficult situation. With that, several energy arrows were fired at once in his direction. With nowhere to escape, the young man was hit head on and fell to the ground, apparently defeated.
One of the men celebrated the victory and said that they had finally managed to take the boy down for good. He wondered whether the boy really was a commoner, because he had given him much more trouble than expected.
But suddenly Louis opened his eye. With a quick movement he got up and grabbed the enemy's weapon. The young man used the opponent's strength against him and pushed him back with full force. With a leverage, he broke the man's spine, and the man screamed in pain from the counterattack.
Using the attacker as a shield, he defended against the arrows and threw them at the other attacker. With a wave of energy, Louis threw the remaining enemies far away with the impact. The man in blue then realised that the boy had only been pretending to be defeated in the fight. Louis got up, panting but victorious, while the defeated enemy lay on the ground.
With a clap, the man in blue praised the young man's skill, saying that it had been impressive. The boy asked whether he did not care about his men, but he said he did not care about trash. Then Louis threw the weapon he had picked up towards the last remaining enemy. The man in blue said that the boy was smart. He said that if it were not for his orders, he would like to make the young man his disciple.
