Synopsis

Nell stayed nine years — the insulin, the dialysis drives, fourteen months sleeping on the couch so she'd hear her mother in the night. Four hours after the burial, her siblings open a group chat to sell the farm and price her out. They list it on Zillow as “sole heirs.” What none of them ever read is the county parcel card Glenn himself drops in the chat: the warranty deed Mom recorded three years ago, owner of record, Nell's name.
