The next morning, Yeri watched Kiyo sleeping and wondered if he was all right. He admitted to himself that nothing was going according to plan. Originally he had only intended to gain Kiyo's trust, but things had spiraled out of control. Still, he convinced himself that maybe this could become an effective way to completely break Kiyo emotionally.
At the same time, Kiyo secretly glanced at Yeri while blushing. He couldn't believe what had happened the previous night. He had thought he would never be able to sleep afterward, yet his body had relaxed so completely that he had passed out immediately. Ashamed, he wondered if he had completely lost his mind. Everything had felt so intense, and he had let himself act recklessly.
Then he remembered his past, specifically his father trying to sell him, an omega, to someone else. The memory overwhelmed him, and he began trembling and crying.
Seeing this, Yeri approached him gently and asked, "What's wrong?" He touched Kiyo's face and asked if he wasn't feeling well. Internally, Yeri was confused, because Kiyo usually recoiled before he could even touch him, but now he seemed so lost that he didn't even notice the contact.
When Yeri lifted Kiyo's face, he noticed Kiyo biting his own lips and asked, "What are you doing?" He asked Kiyo what had happened to him, and warned that if the guards saw him like this, they would blame him for it.
Kiyo finally snapped back to his senses and wiped away his tears, wondering if he had blacked out for a moment. He quickly told Yeri that it was nothing, but Yeri raised his voice, asking how something that had made him cry in pain could possibly be nothing.
Before the conversation could continue, the guards arrived for roll call. They announced that their requested programs had been approved. Kiyo was assigned to report to the library, while inmate 18818 received a different assignment. Even then, Yeri couldn't stop worrying about Kiyo.
In the library, Kiyo felt relieved that he would finally get some time away from Yeri, but the moment he thought about being alone, memories of the previous night flooded back into his mind, making him blush uncontrollably. He admitted to himself that he had completely lost control that night. In fact, part of him had wanted even more. That realization disgusted him, making him feel as though he were some kind of disgrace.
Suddenly Yeri appeared behind him and commented teasingly that their little chick really was a mess. He added that he was a mess too, and joked that this entire prison was basically a showcase of broken people.
Kiyo asked how Yeri had figured him out so quickly. Yeri pointed at his face and said it was obvious. Since he was older, he had immediately recognized the signs. He remarked that Kiyo had a pretty face, but that his behavior revealed far more than he realized. Embarrassed, Kiyo repeated the phrase "pretty face" under his breath while blushing. Yeri brushed it off, saying anyone could see it anyway.
Then, since he was finally free, he suggested they talk about what had happened the previous night. Panicking, Kiyo quickly walked away, insisting there was nothing to discuss. Watching him flee, Yeri thought to himself how fun it was to tease him.
Frustrated, Kiyo threw a book at Yeri and told him to stop following him and leave. The book landed on Yeri's foot, making Kiyo immediately worry that he was hurt. But Yeri smirked and exaggerated the injury dramatically, loudly pretending to be in pain so everyone would notice.
Alarmed, Kiyo rushed over and covered Yeri's mouth to silence him. Inside, he panicked, unsure whether he should move his hand away, because doing so would make his feelings too obvious. Yeri took advantage of the moment by grabbing Kiyo's hand and kissing his palm. Then he slowly licked it as well. Shocked and flustered, Kiyo jerked his hand back and told him to stop, before trying to leave again.
Yeri stopped him and warned that if Kiyo kept running away from him, he might not bite his neck tonight. Hearing that instantly froze Kiyo in place, making him realize that Yeri had completely figured him out.
While Kiyo blushed furiously, Yeri reminded him that there was actually something he had wanted to ask about the previous night. Nervously, Kiyo bit his lip, causing Yeri to shout at him to stop doing that.
Kiyo assumed Yeri wanted to talk about what had happened between them, but Yeri clarified that he had meant Kiyo's hatred toward alphas. Confused and embarrassed, Kiyo pushed him away and told him to speak properly if that was what he wanted to discuss.
Instead of answering, Yeri stepped closer and kissed him again. This time Kiyo slowly melted into the kiss and started enjoying it as well. While they were kissing, Kiyo accidentally bumped into a bookshelf, causing books to fall loudly onto the floor.
Hearing the noise, a guard approached and asked what was going on. At the same moment, Pigeon also arrived at the library. The guard questioned why he was there, and Pigeon casually replied that he had come to borrow a book. Suspicious, the guard said he had heard strange noises and wanted to check inside.
After the kiss ended, both Yeri and Kiyo were left blushing. Yeri calmly walked out and explained that he had simply dropped some books by accident. That was when he noticed Pigeon standing there.
Meanwhile, Kiyo quickly escaped from the library. As he passed by, Pigeon caught a familiar scent coming from him, the same scent he had noticed before. Immediately he realized that Yeri and Kiyo had already become intimate.
Elsewhere, an officer explained that the employee responsible for the mistakes in Kiyo's paperwork was away on a business trip. The lawyer wasn't happy to hear that, especially since the second hearing was only two days away. Still, he admitted that when he had met Kiyo earlier, he had seemed to be doing relatively well.
The officer mentioned that Kiyo had been working in the library as part of a new program. The lawyer then asked about Yeri and whether he had also signed up for a program. The officer confirmed that he had, and said that he was currently in the infirmary. The lawyer absentmindedly spun a ring on his finger while thinking deeply.
Later, Kiyo was writing an apology letter. However, because of pain in his back, he kept making mistakes and became increasingly frustrated. He reflected on how strange his life had become over the past few days. It felt as though he were simply being swept away by a storm without any control. The hatred he had once felt so strongly toward alphas seemed to be disappearing. Every night and every morning when he was with Yeri, things inevitably turned chaotic and intimate. Slowly, Kiyo realized that he was becoming addicted to those dirty acts he had once despised.
Meanwhile, Yeri was talking to someone on the phone in a low voice. He said that he was doing his best, but that because the client had requested a truly brutal death, he first needed to completely gain Kiyo's trust. Behind him, Pigeon quietly approached while overhearing the conversation. Yeri continued, saying that everything was going according to plan, before ending the call.
Right after that, Pigeon picked up the nearby phone and began speaking as well. Just as Yeri was about to leave, he overheard Pigeon mentioning that he was keeping a close eye on their little omega. Hearing this, Yeri stopped in place.
Pigeon continued, saying that they might need to act quickly, because something about the omega had started changing. He also revealed that someone assigned to the infirmary had been providing Kiyo with extremely powerful blockers.
