In the laundry room, Kiyo and Yeri shared another intimate moment. Later they sat together on a bench while Yeri smoked.
Pigeon approached them and remarked casually that he had gone to do laundry earlier, but that the entire room had been overflowing with a strong scent. Hearing this made Kiyo blush instantly. Yeri immediately covered Kiyo's ears and told Pigeon to watch his mouth in front of the baby.
Pigeon was confused by how protective Yeri was acting, but continued anyway, warning them that the pheromone scent had been so thick that they needed to be more careful.
At the same time, Yeri suddenly noticed Kiyo's scent again and internally cursed. Even after taking those new pills, Kiyo's scent was still driving him insane. Normally he was able to resist it, but now he was struggling.
Kiyo pulled himself away from Yeri, conflicted, because the very person warning him about danger was the one he kept staying close to.
Then Pigeon turned to Kiyo directly and told him that if anything ever happened, he should come to him, because he would protect him. Kiyo asked who he really was. Pigeon replied that he was someone capable of bringing him anything he wanted inside this prison, and also someone who knew every secret hidden there.
Yeri immediately stepped between them and told Pigeon to stop, calling him nothing more than a stupid pigeon. Kiyo quietly wondered why he was even called Pigeon in the first place.
Pigeon smirked and asked why Yeri was getting so defensive. He wondered if Yeri was nervous because Pigeon already knew why he had come to this prison. Confused, Kiyo asked what Yeri was supposedly there to do.
Pigeon answered by saying that he was the only one who could truly protect Kiyo. Then he revealed that he knew Kiyo's secrets, even what Kiyo's father had done to him in the past. Hearing this left Kiyo completely shocked.
Before anything else could be said, an announcement called Kiyo to the warden's office. He got up to leave, but before he could walk away, Pigeon called after him.
"Han Kiyo, that's your name, right? You're not so weak that you need someone like him to protect you, are you?"
Pigeon told Kiyo that he didn't need a worthless traitor like Yeri to protect him. He reminded Kiyo that Yeri was still an alpha carrying the same filthy blood as Kiyo's father.
At that moment Yeri grabbed Kiyo's hand, but Kiyo immediately pulled away and said he could walk by himself. He added that he could simply report everything to the warden, before leaving.
Once Kiyo was gone, Yeri angrily snapped at Pigeon, calling him a piece of trash and pointing out that he was an alpha too. Pigeon calmly replied that, unlike Yeri, he wasn't the kind of alpha who murdered helpless omegas.
Yeri grabbed him by the collar and accused him of acting like he knew everything. He demanded to know who he really was. Pigeon answered that he was just a messenger.
Yeri coldly asked if Pigeon seriously thought he would get a share of his little chick. Pigeon smirked and repeated the phrase mockingly, saying that Yeri had already lost. He reminded Yeri that he had been supposed to come here as a hit. Pigeon admitted that at first he hadn't been interested in Kiyo at all, but that seeing how obsessed Yeri had become had made him curious. He wondered what exactly Kiyo had offered that could make a heartless killer completely lose his judgment. He said jokingly that delicious things were meant to be shared.
Yeri snatched the cigarette pack from Pigeon's hand and replied that he was wrong. Delicious things weren't meant to be shared. They were meant to be kept for yourself. He called Kiyo a meal meant only for him and warned Pigeon to stay away, because he wouldn't leave even a single bone behind.
Pigeon responded casually that it was fine anyway, since threesomes had never really been his taste.
Later, an officer apologized to Kiyo for the delay in his transfer. He explained that Kiyo's lawyer, Mr. Shin, had recommended stronger blockers for him. According to the officer, these new suppressants were considered revolutionary because of how effectively they controlled the hormonal system. He told Kiyo to take care of himself and not to forget to use them.
Back in the library, Kiyo arranged books while thinking about the previous night. He told himself that nothing had happened only because of the pills, but then caught himself thinking as though he had actually been expecting something to happen.
That was when he noticed a book Pigeon had been reading. The title was The Story of a Father Who Devoured His Own Son.
Inside the book, Kiyo found a note. When he unfolded it, it read, "Your father devoured your mother, too. Then he tried to devour you, didn't he?"
Reading the note caused Kiyo to start trembling violently.
He was a child again, sitting in his room while outside his father spoke on the phone with someone, promising that his son was young and capable of satisfying wealthy clients' requests, as long as the money was transferred first.
Kiyo listened quietly from behind the door. Another man hesitated, asking whether his father was truly sure about this. He warned that Kiyo's mother would never accept her son being sold. Kiyo's father dismissed the concern coldly, saying that his wife already knew what kind of business they were involved in. He complained that keeping Kiyo around like some treasured possession was a waste. Then he checked the time and remarked that the client still wouldn't arrive for a while.
Inside the room, Kiyo was horrified. He remembered how they had told him to wait quietly and promised to let him see his mother, making him realize they had been lying the entire time.
Outside, the other man desperately tried to stop Kiyo's father, but his father pushed him aside and declared that he was simply going to taste what belonged to him. He even admitted that he would have done it earlier if Kiyo's mother hadn't interfered before.
Panicking, Kiyo desperately searched for an escape route. He tore apart a bed sheet and wrapped the fabric around his hands, preparing to defend himself by attacking his father's neck if necessary.
When his father entered the room and saw him, he mocked him for listening in again. Laughing, he asked if Kiyo planned to kill him with that pathetic weapon, saying he truly resembled his mother. He said chillingly that he was ready to play, adding that frightened resistance only suited his tastes more.
Kiyo begged him to stay away, but his father approached anyway. He said calmly that at first it would feel scary, but that eventually Kiyo would cry, cling to him, and enjoy it.
